About Our Suntree Location
Dr. Cristi moved to the Space Coast in 2004 while pursing her doctorates at Florida Tech. She has always been passionate about helping others, dedicating time to actively mentor and teach students as an Adjunct Professor. After achieving her degree, Dr. Cristi moved throughout the country for specialized training and job opportunities at prestigious institutions such as Emory School of Medicine and Boston Children’s Hospital/Harvard Medical School.
A Miami native, Dr. Cristi has always had a fondness of coastal life as well as strong community involvement. This made returning to the Space Coast the perfect place to call home. The island vibe has been instrumental to Dr. Cristi’s success which allows for an amazing quality of life for her and her family, as well as the peace of being close to the water. Since returning to Brevard, she has built relationships with both the downtown Melbourne & 5th ave community as well as other local businesses to provide free diagnostic and treatment services. From these relationships, lifelong friendships have blossomed.
Dr. Cristi is deeply active in giving back to the Space Coast community with nonprofits. She has partnered with Spring for Autism to provide diagnostic and treatment services under grants for children who are eligible, as well as founding her own non-profit, Niños Heath. Niños Heath was founded in 2018 to provide mental health screenings and educational events to children of Brevard who are under-insured.
Dr. Cristi has been consistently recognized in the community. She was a Lead Brevard’s 4 under 40 nominee for the past two years, and the Melbourne Chamber of Commerce’s Woman To Watch in Business Award 2019. She was the past Co-Chair of Counselors for Change providing 10+ mental health panels to local Brevard Public Schools, as well as a basketball coach for Southern Beaches Basketball Association U6.
